Body-Oriented Exercises for self-regulation through the lens of Somatic Experiencing (Online)

Body-Oriented Exercises for self-regulation through the lens of Somatic Experiencing

Self-care is important on so many different levels. Our body very often gives the signals when we have not practiced self-care enough. Our body and nervous system therefore plays an important role in creating the correct self-regulation and discharge when necessary.

We start this short workshop with a short theoretical background from Somatic Experiencing so that we can better recognize in which state our nervous system is. From there we will get started with some experiential and body-oriented exercises that can help us in various ways in our quest for self-regulation and self-care.

This short workshop is aimed at therapists, psychologists, manual therapists, teachers  and anyone who works with people. All exercises are also useful with and can be taught to a client.
